Four persons assassinated by paramilitaries

In the morning hours the murder of 4 people were confirmed in the town of Bajirá, Municipality of Belén.
The same criminal organization possesses a list of communitarian leaders that legally reclaimed their lands in Curvaradó and Pedeguita – Mansanilla.
Within the list of the persons that would be murdered are people that coincide with those that are an “annoyance” to the illegal occupants, which are linked to the large scale cattle ranching and palm-agribusiness in Caño Manso, Curvaradó, Bijao Onofre and San Andrés in the collective territory of Pedeguita – Mansanilla.
During the night in the village Playa Roja the entrepreneurs ENRIQUE MOLANO, family member of the landowner and ex military LUIS FELIPE MOLANO and Juan G. González that forms part of the company Palma Recife, manifested in a reunion with the villagers and workers of Bajirá that they will not return the lands to their legal and legitimate owners of the Community Council.
Since a few days, the entrepreneurs are promoting the repopulation and occupation of the collective property with bovine species as well as afro-Colombians without land.
Today in the morning, the congressional candidate of the Democratic Centre (Centro Democrático) made a prestigious international organization and the Commission for Peace and Justice responsible for the assassination of members of the Community Council of Caño Manso.
For some analysts this massage seeks to attribute the eventual commission of assassination plans against the life and integrity of the inhabitants to observing human rights organization, ignoring the fact that the threats proceed from business sectors and paramilitaries associated with them.
Blandón was the Municipality Ombudsman of Rio Sucio. Due to his interventions against the law he tried to legalize and legitimize the violent dispossession and corporate occupation, recognizing the rights of the occupants of bad faith, including the organization ASOPROBERA, which was created by SOR TERESA GÓMEZ.
The land that Blandón sought to legitimize for the entrepreneurs Molano and Gonzáles is part of the so-called “Casa Castaño” that seeked to implement an example of demonstrative alliance strategies.
Blandón has participated in in difomatory strategies against organizations, communitarian leaders and human rights organizations and he has inhibited the effective restitution of the collective territories.
The government knows of the assassination committed by paramilitaries and the threats against more than 10 leaders of the Community Councils of Caño Manso, Bijao Onofre and San Andrés with the implementation of any preventive measures on the part of the National Protection Unity (Unidad Nacional de Protección). Before the totality of threats no quick efforts in the investigative actions can be observed nor any commitment of the public forces in the peripheral areas of the Humanitarian Zones and Zones of Biodiversity were the inhabitants of the collective territory live.
